With a solid academic background supported by prestigious institutions, Antonio Gómez is an Argentine musician with an undeniable passion for the guitar and a profound understanding of musical performance.

He holds a Master's degree in Chamber Music Performance (2023) from the Faculty of Humanities and Arts at the National University of Rosario (UNR), as well as a Bachelor's degree in Musical Arts with a specialization in Instrument (2019) from the Department of Musical and Sound Arts at the National University of the Arts (UNA). Additionally, he holds the titles of Superior Professor of Music in the specialty of Guitar and Guitar with a specialization in Chamber Music (2013), awarded by the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires "Astor Piazzolla."

During his training at the "Astor Piazzolla" Conservatory, Antonio Gómez had the opportunity to receive instruction from prominent professors and maestros, including names such as Marcelo Delgado, Germán Rossi, Pablo Freiberg, and Marta Luna, among others. In guitar, he studied under Maestro Walter Ujaldón. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in enriching courses and events. Notably, he studied at the State Conservatory "Nicola Sala" in Benevento, Italy, from November 2014 to February 2015, where he refined his Italian repertoire under the tutelage of Maestro Piero Viti. Additionally, in Música en Compostela in 2018, he worked on Spanish repertoire with Maestro José Luis Rodrigo.

Antonio Gómez's musical journey extends from 2003 to the present, performing as a guitar soloist and in chamber music ensembles in renowned venues in Argentina and Italy, including the Golden Hall of the House of Culture, the J. L. Borges Auditorium of the National Library, the Buenos Aires City Legislature, the Magna Hall of the Faculty of Law, ECU, Mariano Moreno Popular Library (La Rioja), and the Sala Comunale di Rappresentanza in Cava de'Tirreni, Italy. He has performed as a soloist with the Camerata de la Ciudad.

His versatility and dedication are reflected in projects ranging from the interpretation of 19th-century music with period instruments, 20th-century music with contemporary guitar, to his involvement in virtual educational projects such as "Guitar - A Method," initiated in 2020 with luthier Ricardo Louzao, and his participation in virtual artistic events such as the Festival of Lutes and Early Guitars and the 4th cycle of classical guitar concerts in 2020 and 2021.

As an educator, he has shared his knowledge through courses, seminars, and presentations addressing topics ranging from the music and poetry of the Spanish Golden Age, the analysis of themes in the music of J. K. Mertz, as well as conferences on Federico Moreno Torroba and the guitar. Since 2024, he has been serving as a guitar professor at the Superior Conservatory of Music of the City of Buenos Aires "Astor Piazzolla."

In addition to his notable presence on stage, Antonio Gómez has continually sought improvement and refinement through a wide range of postgraduate courses and masterclasses with renowned maestros such as Eduardo Fernández, Leo Brouwer, Pablo Márquez, and Edoardo Catemario, among others.

With a career in constant evolution and an undeniable commitment to excellence, Antonio Gómez is making his mark in the musical scene, combining technical mastery with profound musical understanding.
